About the Job:
We are looking to recruit an experienced breakfast chef to help organise our busy early morning breakfast operations at this award-winning restaurant in Portmagee, Co.
Kerry, Ireland.
You will also be required to work on the mise-en-place list and prepare meals for lunch.
Requirements:
We are looking for an energetic, motivated person who is willing to learn.
Must have 2-3 years of previous experience and must be keen to progress and learn within our kitchen.
Must be able to work on your own initiative and consistently show your ability to deliver the very highest quality food.
Must have completed HACCP Training.
Ability to prepare and produce food for the area which you are assigned and to the agreed standards in conjunction with the other chefs.
Ability to manage own and food prep assistants workload to maximise productivity.
Keen to minimise wastage.
Ensure all necessary mise-en-place is ready before service.
Follow rigidly and observe all hygiene regulations.
Resilient and can work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
Dependable with a solutions-based attitude.
Fluent English is a requirement.
