We are currently recruiting for a Human Resources Business Partner to join our Human Resources TeamAbility West provides a wide range of high-quality services to children and adults with intellectual disabilities and autism across Galway City and County. Services provided are day, residential, short breaks, community supports, rehabilitative training and multi-disciplinary supports. Each person is supported and valued within an environment which promotes their overall autonomy, health and wellbeing and enables them to reach their potential.The Role:The Human Resources Business Partner will lead a range of HR activities and projects and will be responsible for ensuring that HR practice and procedures are in line with "best practice". They will be responsible for coordinating day to day HR processes such as recruitment, policy implementation, industrial relations and employee relations, and various ad hoc HR projects.Essential Criteria:Have a relevant professional qualification and can demonstrate evidence of continuing professional development.CIPD registration3-5 years Human Resources experience in a similar rolePossess a good knowledge of Human Resources issues and procedures.Possess a good knowledge of Irish and relevant European employment legislation.Have a full clean driving licence and the use of one's own car.Working knowledge of the MS Office suiteExperience of operating an IT based integrated Human Resource Information System (HRIS) such as CoreHRAbility to effectively communicate with team members, members of the public and people we support.Closing date for applications is the 19th of October 2025
