We are currently recruiting for multiple Caretakers to join our PPP CNU contract. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting and supporting the Site Facilities Lead in providing day-to-day operational management. This is an active and visible role requiring excellent customer relationship skills. The successful candidate will be subject to Garda Vetting, and flexibility will be required for working shifts to cover evenings and weekends.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Support the Facilities Site Lead in promoting a culture of excellent customer service and establish excellent working relationships with the client.
* Assist the Facilities Site Lead in reviewing existing services, specifications, processes, productivity levels, and quality control to secure and increase the efficient use of resources.
* Adhere to client requests in a timely manner with a strong customer focus via the maintenance management system.
* Manage Subcontractors on site and adhere to company contractor management guidelines, including but not limited to the SWP (Safe Work Plan).
* Identify building faults proactively, apply immediate fixes or ensure safe conditions, and contact the appropriate contractor.
* Work flexible shifts with potential for late closing or early opening depending on client requirements.
* Ensure compliance with all health and safety legislation and company policies, including undertaking roles such as Fire Warden and/or First Aider as required.
* Undertake regular site and service inspection tours, identifying areas not adhering to quality standards.
* Contribute positively to business performance and build strong relationships with the client and internal teams.
* Follow the Company Health & Safety rules and regulations when on site.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE
* Experienced maintenance technician with extensive experience across multiple workstreams.
* Must hold Safe Pass, Manual Handling, and other relevant site tickets.
* Adhere to Garda Vetting process.
* Proven health & safety awareness with a thorough understanding of quality systems.
* Capable of prioritising tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail regarding output and quality.
* Experience in Facilities Management or Engineering/Construction environments is ideal.
