Cpl in partnership with our client Pfizer are seeking an Artwork Planning Co-Ordinator / Packaging Coordinator to join the team for an 11 month fixed term contract at their Newbridge site. This is an onsite based role.

Position Summary Packaging Component Change Management ensuring the accurate creation, maintenance, and technical approval of all artworks, for packaging and associated documentation and systems in line with regulatory implementation timelines. Liaising with plant, markets and the outsourced artwork creation centre for all issues related to artwork changes and new artwork development to ensure the supply of packaged products to meet customer needs which are compliant with the Marketing Authorisations.

General Responsibilities


• Ensure strict adherence to site policies/procedures, cGMP and environmental, health and safety regulations.


• Execute responsibilities in line with Right First Time principles.


• Ensure resolution of and/or appropriate escalation of issues.


• Execution of the validated artworks system, for transactions and progress internal Requests for Artwork Amendment in a timely manner, maintaining regulatory compliance throughout.


• Responsible for the technical review and approval of artwork components


• Creation of new components in SAP (Enterprise Resource Planning System) and generation of associated Purchasing Specifications


• Creation of new Bill of Materials and production versions in SAP, management of effectivity dates and generation of associated documentation to meet production needs.


• Key site contact with Pfizer market contacts


• Generation of New Product Introduction Questionnaires and manage E2E activities in relation to artwork creation and launch to market


• Closely monitor tasks ensuring department metrics are adhered to.


• Report to the department manager.

Specific areas of responsibility Job specific accountabilities will be as per one or several of the following dependent on role assignment within the department.

Supporting Detail Artwork and Packaging Operations

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead the creation of artwork briefs and completion of Machine Compatibility Technical Reviews.
2. Act as the main liaison between the site and external/internal stakeholders including artwork contractors, Pfizer Country Offices (PCOs), Global Packaging Services, Affiliate Packaging Quality Organizations (APQO), Global Labelling Operations (GLO), and Global Product Teams.
3. Manage artwork implementation activities aligned with regulatory timelines and change control processes.

Change Control & Documentation:

4. Manage documentation, packaging, and artwork changes via ePALMS Change Control and Site-specific Change Control systems.
5. Create and maintain accurate records in ePALMS, ensuring all implementation dates are agreed upon and tracked with relevant markets and supply chain planners.
6. Ensure the timely availability of specifications in line with production schedules.

GMP Documentation – Creation & Maintenance:

7. Packaging Specifications
8. Purchasing Specifications
9. New Product Introduction (NPI) Questionnaires
10. Perform technical checks and approvals for artwork files.

SAP Systems Maintenance:

11. Load, create, and maintain data related to packaging and purchasing:
Bills of Materials (BOMs)Material MastersProduction VersionsPurchasing Master Data

Inventory & Supply Chain Coordination:

12. Support inventory management and ensure implementation dates align with market demand.
13. Collaborate closely with the Planning team to ensure production and supply plans meet regulatory and market requirements.

Cross-functional Technical Liaison:

14. Coordinate with Packaging Technology, Incoming Quality, Operations, Purchasing, and Packaging Vendors to ensure seamless packaging operations.

Qualifications:

15. A third-level qualification in Purchasing, Materials Management, Business, or a Science-related field is preferred.
16. Relevant experience combined with the right attitude and behaviors may be considered in lieu of formal education.

Experience


• Minimum 2 years' experience in Manufacturing Planning / Supply Chain / Logistics

Related work experience in Pharma industry an advantage


• Related experience/knowledge/understanding of artwork development


• Understanding of Regulatory requirements for Pharma industry


• Attention to detail, accuracy in record keeping and documentation.


• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications


• Good working knowledge of artworks and Adobe Suite applications


• Clear communicator and solution orientated.


• Ability to identify and gather information necessary for effective decision-making.


• Ability to effectively prioritise and handle multiple tasks.


• Ability to coordinate project work as part of a team.


• Service minded, reactive and rigorous.
