Implementation Project Manager
– Legal Systems
Location: Dublin / Hybrid
Role Overview
This role is responsible for leading the implementation of new systems and technology solutions within a legal or professional services environment. The Implementation Project Manager will work closely with legal, operational, and technology stakeholders to deliver projects that support efficient ways of working, regulatory compliance, and strong user adoption. The position suits a Project Manager with experience in system implementations who understands the dynamics of working in a legal setting and is comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders in a professional, highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end system implementation projects from requirements gathering through to go-live and post-implementation review
* Translate business and legal requirements into clear project plans and delivery milestones
* Coordinate internal teams, external vendors, and third-party providers to ensure successful project delivery
* Manage timelines, scope, risks, issues, and dependencies across multiple workstreams
* Oversee system testing, data migration, user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live readiness
* Support change management activities to drive user engagement and system adoption
* Provide clear, structured project updates to senior stakeholders, including leadership and Partners
* Ensure projects are delivered in line with data protection, confidentiality, and regulatory requirements
Systems & Project Scope
Implementation or enhancement of systems such as:
* Practice or matter management systems
* Document and knowledge management platforms
* Time recording, billing, and finance-related systems
* Client onboarding, risk, and compliance tools
* Workflow, reporting, and business intelligence platforms
Experience & Background
* Proven experience delivering system or technology implementation projects
* Experience working in a legal environment strongly preferred (law firm, in-house legal team, legal services, or legal technology)
* Background in professional services or regulated environments advantageous
* Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder projects
* Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders who may not have a technical background

Qualifications (Desirable)
