This is a seven-day-a-week, guest-facing operational leadership role.As a Director of Guest Experience, you'll play a key role in shapingBeyond Everythingmoments for every guest - elevating service standards, inspiring teams, and championing a culture of hospitality that sets the benchmark for ultra-luxury resorts. Reporting to the Director of Rooms, you'll collaborate closely with leaders and teams across the resort to deliver seamless, intuitive and consistently exceptional service that delights our guests and reinforces our position as a benchmark as a global leader in luxury hospitality.Key ResponsibilitiesFull responsible for the day-to-day operation of our Guest Experience and Guest Relations teams.Lead, train and motivate a service-focused team in established processes and procedures to deliver exceptional personalized service.Act as the primary liaison for VIP and high-profile guests, overseeing pre-arrival planning, in-stay coordination, and post-stay follow-up.Coordinate room inspections to ensure all standards are met, amenities correct, and special requests are fulfilled prior to arrival.Oversee all special-occasion activity programmes on property, including Christmas, Easter, Halloween and other signature events.Champion Forbes and LQA standards across the resort, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement through quality audits and training.Oversee resort quality initiatives, including CRM systems such as Qualtrics, Guest feedback programmes and service-recovery processes.Lead the generation and presentation of the monthly resort quality pack.Manage guest complaints, resolving disputes and service challenges with professionalism and empathyMaintain and enhance SOPs, service audits and guest-feedback processes to uphold Forbes, LQA and Michelin standards.Partner with HR on recruitment, onboarding and development plans for Guest Experience and Guest Relations teams.Who you areWe are looking for someone who is people focused, solutions driven and passionate about fostering a workplace environment where everyone feels valued and empowered.You'll thrive in this role if you have:Minimum of 3 years' proven experience as a Guest Experience leader in an ultra-luxury five-star environment.A strong background in Front of House and/or Food and Beverage operations.Exceptional interpersonal skills with a demonstrable ability to inspire high-performing teams and build meaningful emotional connections with guests.A commercially astute, detail-oriented mindset with an unwavering commitment to service excellence.Thorough knowledge of Hotel Operations, policies and regulations; technical proficiency with PMS Software (Hotsoft, Opera), Guest-feedback systems (Qualtrics, Revinate) and Microsoft Office.Outstanding communication and organization skills, with an ability to excel in fast-paced, multi-tasking, high-pressure environments.A full, clean European driving licence.Why Join Adare Manor?At Adare Manor we believe in exceptional experiences – not just for our guests, but for our team too.
