Your new role
The Role of the Senior Financial Accountant
The Senior Financial Accountant plays a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of financial reporting across the organisation's entities.
This position is responsible for leading the annual audit process and working closely with external auditors to ensure a smooth and efficient audit.
The role also involves overseeing the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Auditing, Reporting and Compliance Responsibilities:
* Actively involved in the audit process
* Preparing stock reports
* Conducting financial reporting under US GAAP
Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
* Close collaboration with senior stakeholders
Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Fully qualified (ACA or ACCA)
* Over 3 years of post-qualification experience
Desirable Skills and Experience:
* Ideal: Experience with US GAAP reporting and SOX controls
* Advantageous: Knowledge of Oracle
* Beneficial: Experience in Tax, VAT, and RCT
Essential Skills and Qualities:
* Excellent communication skills
