OverviewA fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Technical Specialist – Process Sciences. In this role you will execute lab-scale process models to support process development and optimisation studies, evaluate process raw material changes, and lead investigations to support manufacturing.Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:ResponsibilitiesPlan, execute, and critically analyse lab experiments.Participate in and lead process development initiatives, delivering in line with project timelines.Perform design of experiments (DoE) and statistical analysis to characterise critical process parameters.Preparation of documentation associated with projects in accordance with GDP (good documentation practice) and site procedures.Lead and participate in cross-functional problem solving teams for troubleshooting and investigations.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including method optimisation and troubleshooting.Apply knowledge of protein chemistry and related analytical techniques such as HPLC.Present project work and technical findings to diverse project stakeholders.Ensure laboratory safety, compliance with site policies, and proper maintenance/calibration of lab equipment.Participate in Process Performance Analysis activities, analysing manufacturing process data and trends.QualificationsMSc or BSc in a relevant scientific discipline; PhD preferred.3–5 years’ experience in an analytical or lab-scale process development role, or equivalent academic research experience.Demonstrated ability to independently design experiments, execute them, and perform critical data analysis.Good knowledge of protein chemistry and analytical techniques such as HPLC.Good knowledge of Ultrafiltration diafiltration.High level written and verbal communications with advanced PC skills.Demonstrated ability to fully realize improvement initiatives.Self-motivated with demonstrated successes in a team environment, such as project teams, problem solving teams etc.Experience managing stakeholders across multiple decision-makers, corporate colleagues, and cross-functional teams.About the employerWe keep the patient at the very heart of all that we do and strive to find solutions and treatments for some of the world\'s most challenging healthcare needs.As an equal opportunity employer, we are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
