We are seeking a seasoned Food Production Manager to lead our busy food production team in Co. Wexford.
* The ideal candidate will oversee daily food production operations, ensuring high standards in quality, efficiency, and compliance with food safety regulations.
* A key aspect of this role is leading and motivating the team to achieve production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs).
* Driving innovation by developing and improving new and existing product lines is also a critical component of this position.
* In addition, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing production planning, staff rosters, and resource allocation for peak periods.
* Liaising with suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials is essential.
* Maintaining excellent food hygiene and health & safety practices across the facility is crucial.
* Monitoring costs, margins, and product performance to ensure profitability is a key responsibility.
* The right individual will also train, coach, and develop team members to ensure high performance and skill development.
