This role involves differential diagnosis and diagnostic assessment/intervention for children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences, including autism, mild to moderate mental health difficulties, and complex development and social needs.
Requirements
Relevant knowledge, skills and experience in differential diagnosis and diagnostic assessment/intervention when working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences, including autism as well as mild to moderate mental health difficulties and complex development and social needs.
In-depth knowledge of the supports, services, and evidence-informed interventions available to Autistic children, young people and their families.
Strong understanding and practical application of neuro-affirming approaches, with a commitment to strengths-based, person-centred practice.
Proven experience working effectively within multidisciplinary teams to deliver coordinated, high-quality care and support.
