Endoscopy Nurse Position Summary
Our Endoscopy Unit is seeking a skilled and experienced Registered General Nurse to join our team. As an Endoscopy Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure that patients receive the best possible care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor patients' vital signs and respond promptly to any changes
• Assist with endoscopic procedures, including preparing patients and equipment
• Maintain accurate records of patient care and treatments
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
• Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with best practices in Endoscopy care
Required Qualifications and Experience:
• Registered General Nurse with The Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
• At least 1 year's post-registration experience in a hospital setting
• Previous experience in Endoscopy or a related field is desirable
