Role Overview
The Cable Puller supports electrical installation teams by carrying out the safe handling, routing, and installation of electrical cables across containment systems within data centre and pharmaceutical projects. This role is critical to programme delivery, ensuring cables are installed correctly, without damage, and in line with drawings, specifications, and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Cable Installation
Assist with pulling, routing, and laying LV, MV, and control cables through containment systems.
Ensure cables are installed without damage, twists, or undue stress.
Support correct cable identification, segregation, and dressing as directed.
Assist with preparation of cable routes, rollers, and pulling equipment.
Site & Team Support
Work as part of an electrical team to meet daily installation targets.
Support electricians with general installation tasks as required.
Assist with materials handling, cable drum management, and housekeeping.
Health & Safety
Follow all site safety rules, method statements, and risk assessments.
Use correct manual handling techniques and lifting aids when handling cables.
Maintain safe work areas and report hazards immediately.
Stop work if unsafe conditions arise.
Quality & Compliance
Work in line with Centum quality standards and client specifications.
Ensure cable routes remain clear, organised, and ready for inspection.
Identify and report clashes, access issues, or installation risks early.
Skills & Experience Required
Experience
Previous experience as a cable puller or electrical labourer on construction, data centre, pharmaceutical, or industrial projects.
Familiarity with working around electrical containment systems.
Experience handling large or multiple cable runs is desirable.

Qualifications
Valid Safe Pass / CSCS or equivalent.
Manual handling certification required or willingness to complete.
IPAF or MEWP certification an advantage.
Willingness to travel and work across multiple European sites.
