Sales Engineer - Electrical Solutions Territory: East Coast (Leinster Focus) Salary: €55,000 - €68,000 + €12,000+ Bonus | Company Car / Allowance | Healthcare | Pension | 24 Days Leave THE COMPANY: Our client is a globally recognised manufacturer within the electrical and industrial solutions space, with a strong European footprint including manufacturing across the UK and Europe, and a growing operational presence in Ireland. They have built a reputation for high-quality, reliable products and excellent lead times, supported by a strong internal infrastructure across sales, marketing and technical support. Due to continued expansion in Ireland, they are now looking to add a Sales Engineer to their commercial team. THE ROLE: This is a field-based sales position covering the East Coast, with a strong focus on Leinster, where you will be responsible for developing relationships and driving demand across a broad customer base. You will be selling a range of electrical connection and cable management solutions, working with end users such as panel builders, OEMs, M&E contractors and specialist manufacturers. Once product demand is generated, you will work closely with established electrical wholesale partners to fulfil and complete the sales cycle. The role will involve a mix of new business development and account management, with a strong emphasis on building your pipeline and growing market share, particularly in your first year. You will be supported by an experienced internal team across marketing, customer service, and technical functions, as well as colleagues on the ground in Ireland. THE PERSON: We are looking to speak with candidates who have experience within the electrical sector in Ireland and understand how the market operates. The ideal candidate will have: * Experience selling or working with electrical wholesalers, contractors or OEMs in Ireland * A proven track record in B2B field sales or account management * Strong commercial awareness with a proactive approach to winning business * The ability to build and maintain relationships across multiple stakeholders * A willingness to learn and develop within a technical product environment * A professional and organised approach to managing a territory * Full, clean driving licence This role will suit someone who understands the electrical distribution channel and enjoys a mix of relationship management and new business development.
