HighCare Childcare are recruiting a Centre Manager to manage our independent service in Ballincollig, Cork. We are an Early Years service embedded within our local community, offering the highest quality care to our children and families using an emergent and child-centred curriculum. Your key responsibilities will include:
* Act as the Designated Person in Charge, overseeing all aspects of centre operations.
* Develop positive, warm and respectful relationships with children and their families.
* Lead the delivery of a dynamic emergent curriculum, tailored to meet the individual needs of children.
* Maintain professional relationships with external agencies, such as TUSLA, the Early Intervention Team, Cork City Childcare Committee, ECI.
* Be present and prepared during Early Years Inspections, ensuring full compliance and transparency.
* Stay up to date on all sector developments through networking, training, and media.
* Ensure compliance with TUSLA Early Years Regulations, Core Funding, ECCE, NCS, AIM, and all other legislative and quality standards.
* Collaborate with your Deputy Manager to drive centre development, including funding opportunities and occupancy optimisation.
* Ensure all health and safety, hygiene, and risk management requirements are followed across the centre.
* Contribute to events, team building, and continuous improvement of the service.

Requirements
* A genuine passion for working with children and families
* Minimum Level 8 in Early Childhood Care and Education
* A proven track record in managing people and at least 3 years post-qualification experience in a leadership role in an early years setting.
* Comprehensive working knowledge of TUSLA regulations, Pobal administration, and Aistear are essential.
* Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills.
* Candidate will possess strong organisational and planning skills, the ability to work off one's own initiative and be proactive.
