Program Manager

About the Role
We are looking for an individual who will be flexible and adapt to the needs of each individual they support. They will provide leadership and supervision at a local level, ensuring the service delivered is person-centered.
* To ensure that the life of each person reflects the organisations' core values and personal outcome measures.
* To manage and supervise a staff team and be up-to-date with current policy and legislation relevant to intellectual disability services.
* To work in partnership with families and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for individuals.
The Program Manager will also be responsible for:
* Leading by example and demonstrating high standards of professionalism and expertise.
* Coordinating and implementing policies and procedures related to safeguarding, risk management, and quality assurance.
* Maintaining accurate records and reports as required.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 3 years' experience of working with people with an intellectual disability, with experience of behaviors that challenge and complex needs, goal setting, and program implementation. A full clean manual driving license, which qualifies you to drive manual transmission vehicles on Irish roads, and the use of your own car are essential requirements.
Requirements
Candidates must demonstrate leadership, management, and planning skills as well as the ability to set goals, implement, and review. They must also have the ability to exercise good judgment, discretion, and confidentiality, to communicate effectively in both written and verbal forms, and cooperate in a team environment with a person-centered philosophy.
Working Hours
Contracted hours will be based on a 7-day duty roster and will depend on the grade of the successful candidate. In addition, a sleep-in and/or night duty commitment is a requirement of the post for which the appropriate allowance will be paid. An 'On Call' commitment will be required, and flexibility around this will be expected in order to meet service needs.
