Job Title:
Senior Bioprocess Engineering Specialist
As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in the design, specification, and commissioning of new and renovated biopharmaceutical process equipment. Your expertise will be instrumental in providing engineering support and problem-solving for existing equipment and manufacturing processes.
About the Role:
* Design and specify cGMP process equipment, piping, and controls to ensure efficient and safe operation.
* Manage small-to-mid-sized projects related to process equipment and manufacturing, coordinating with cross-functional teams to deliver results on time and within budget.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to design review, site acceptance, and installation of equipment, ensuring seamless execution and high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
To excel in this position, you should possess excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. You should also have the ability to think strategically and execute tactically in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks as needed and adapting to change.
A Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Process or Mechanical engineering, along with 8+ years of relevant experience, is required for this role. Direct experience with biopharmaceutical process equipment is preferred, but may be substituted with relevant experience.
