Instructional Designer IThe Instructional Designer I works with the Director of Learning & Development to design, implement, and maintain learning content, programs, and certifications. They are highly collaborative, and partner with people from multiple departments in the company to gain context and subject matter expertise to ensure that learning resources are accurate, relevant, customized, and engaging.What you'll be doing:Design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning programsCollaborate with company SMEs to:Conduct Needs Analysis to identify goals and performance gapsGather context and specialized knowledgeUnderstand career paths and subsequent learning resourcesDetermine success metricsCollect feedback to continuously improve programsCreate engaging and effective instructional materialsManage course creation projects with a high level of enthusiasm and collaboration with company SMEsProvide help with content creation and editing as neededDevelop online learning content using eLearning, video editing, and AI toolsCreate complementary materials for courses as needed (PDF guides, etc.)Maintain high standards of qualityEnsure that materials are current and availableParticipate in the annual audit processEnsure training materials are kept up-to-dateEnsure materials are made available to the correct audiencesManage multiple instructional design projects simultaneouslyRespond to requests for new courses/programs, and organize all steps involvedMeet deadlines and maintain high quality standardsImplement and reinforce processes and best practices for course and program developmentLead others through these processes, and ensure accountability in each project team memberUtilize project management tools to track completion of stepsOther Duties:Assist with Instructor-Led Courses (ILC) as needed: setting up sessions, inviting the audience, and tracking attendanceAid in curating, vetting, and selecting content from third-party vendors for courses that are not created in-houseCollaborate with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure that training material is up-to-date, available, and assigned to all relevant partiesRaise suggestions and concerns to ensure continuous improvementUtilize data & analytics to measure success of implemented training programs and materials, and communicate these findings to department leadership and company leaders/SMEsMaintain high levels of professionalismWhat we're looking for:Experience working in a professional and collaborative environmentFlexibility and the ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously; ability to balance priorities utilizing strong organizational skillsDesire to collaborate across business functions, time zones, and geographiesExperience leveraging the Microsoft Suite of products (Especially PowerPoint, Planner, and Teams)Troubleshooting and problem-solving mindset and capabilitiesInstructional design experience preferredExperience with course creation tools, video editing tools, and AI tools preferredEducation:Bachelor's degree requiredTravel:Opportunity to travel occasionally
