Job DescriptionA fantastic and hugely exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious leader, Maintenance Lead OSD (Oral Solid Dose) within our Pharm Ops Integrated Process Team (IPT) at our Small Molecule Commercialisation Site in Ballydine, Co. Tipperary.The Maintenance Lead (OSD) will join the IPT Leadership Team, with responsibility for all maintenance and engineering related activities. This role will be responsible for leading a dynamic, highly motivated, shift and days engineering team at an exciting stage in the transformation of our site.Bring energy, knowledge, innovation to carry out the following:The Maintenance Lead, as a member of the IPT Leadership team, is accountable for achieving business results for the IPT in line with overall plant goals Overall responsibility of Maintenance Execution, PM program development and optimisation, investigation and root cause identification for any equipment failure, and reliability program for sustainability of our assets.Design and execution of the annual shutdown for key equipment and utilities, including any project work required, and upgrades with a target of RFT return of all systems to the operations team Identifies, prioritises, and champions improvement projects in production to deliver IPT targets using appropriate Lean tools (such as VSM, 5S etc), including the implementation of turnaround improvements, reduction of equipment rebuild variability, and waste elimination, and embeds MPS in the organization.Prepares the Engineering budget to support the Pharm Ops IPT, monitoring performance against budget targets and within profit plan. Also responsible for the financial governance of local capital projects Leads team responsible for the primary Engineering/Technical Interface for all OSD IPT projects executed by Projects Teams to ensure smooth progress of projects through the design phases from inception to handover.Responsible for full execution of lower complexity IPT projects and improvements.Accountable for ensuring that the IPT engineering systems are performed in compliance with cGMP, Environmental, Labour, and Industrial Health and Safety regulations.As part of the Global Safety and Environmental system, the incumbent is responsible for specific chapter ownership and understanding as to how it relates to the IPT.Responsible for finite scheduling of maintenance activities, schedule adherence as well as engineering related downtime tracking to drive problem solving to avoid repetitive downtime due to equipment instability.Partner with IPT Leadership Team to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance productivity, optimize workflows, and ensure seamless operations.What skills you will need:In order to excel in this role, you will more than likely have:Degree in Engineering or Science Pharmaceutical manufacturing and/or engineering experience.Has experience of guiding a team, including direct management of others.Demonstrated knowledge of Operational Excellence & Asset Reliability Principles Good knowledge of Safety & Environmental legislation, as well as compliance requirements, as it applies to engineering Strong Oral solid Dose Unit Operation and Plant Equipment knowledge.Preferred experience in Lean and Six Sigma methodology.Preferred experience in talent development.Preferred experience in Strategy Development, Financial Acumen, Leadership.We keep the patient at the very heart of all that we do and strive to find solutions and treatments for some of the world's most challenging healthcare needs.As an equal opportunity employer, we are proud to be a company that embraces the value of bringing diverse, talented, and committed people together.
