We are currently seeking a highly-motivated Enhanced Nurse (RNID/RGN) to join our team in Enable Ireland Residential Respite House, Ennis, Co Clare
Contract Type: Full Time Permanent Contract
Contract Hours: 37.5 Hours per week (Required to be worked over Thursday, Friday & Saturday)
Annual Leave Entitlement: Annual leave entitlement is 33 days pro rata per annum
Salary Scale:
Enhanced Nurse: €40,212 to €53,009 pro rata per annum. Salary scales are subject to LSI’s (Long Service Increments)
This pay scale is subject to increases in 2025 in accordance with the recent WRC agreement towards enhanced pay adjustments in Section 39 organisations.
Overview of the Post:
The role of the Enhanced Nurse is to work as part of a team in Breakfree Lodge, a three bed residential and respite house which currently has 2 full-time residents and 6 individuals who access residential respite.
The Enhanced Nurse will work alongside a staff team in delivering high quality person centred care and support to the adults with complex physical, sensory and intellectual disabilities. They will also work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and Person in Charge to work towards the maintaining of required standards of documentation and compliance required as part of the registration as a HIQA designated centre.

The successful candidate will have:
* Have a nursing RNID/RGN qualification validated for working in the Republic of Ireland
* Be registered in the Intellectual Disability Nurse Division of the live Register of Nurses kept by Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
AND
* Successful candidate must confirm annual registration with the NMBI to enable Ireland.
* Post holders must maintain annual registration with Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI).
* Have the clinical and administrative capacity to properly discharge the functions of the role.
* Full clean driver’s licence and willingness to drive service transport.
* Basic IT skills.
* Experience working with adults in a community residential setting.
* 1 years’ experience working with adults with disabilities.
* Experience of working in a designated centre.
