Leadership Role in Nursing
* Conduct regular quality audits to identify areas for improvement.
* Manage the onboarding, ongoing education and professional development of nursing staff.
* Encourage innovation in practice.
* Maintain compliance with HIQA standards, procedures and guidelines.
* Establish strong relationships with local community organizations.
* Collaborate with marketing teams to promote our services in the local community.
* Implement policies and procedures to ensure employee, resident and visitor safety.
* Develop and implement evacuation and fire safety training plans.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
* Current NMBI Registration (General Division).
* Minimum 3 years experience working with older people within the last 6 years.
* At least 3 years experience in a management or supervisory capacity.
* Post-registration qualification in Healthcare Management or equivalent.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Deep understanding of aging processes and best practices in elder care.
* Valid Garda Vetting Clearance.
