Key Responsibilities:
The Plant Manager oversees the entire manufacturing facility across all operational departments to meet customer needs daily.
Main Tasks and Duties:
* Reinforce company leadership values and goals among employees.
* Manage operational KPIs on site to ensure customer requirements are met.
* Develop site business strategies and implement group initiatives.
* Cultivate a cross-functional team responsible for manufacturing products.
* Maintain a proactive culture of continuous improvement & best practice throughout the plant.
* Identify KPI improvements and cost savings initiatives with the site management team.
* Ensure operational personnel are trained for optimum performance.
* Maintain site readiness for audits & compliance with ISO standards, regulations, and agencies.
* Collaborate with colleagues across IRL & UK sites on group-wide initiatives.
* Provide regular updates to Operations Manager, Group Managers & Leadership Team.
* Foster a high-performance organisation with an operational excellence approach.
* Achieve optimal results in a cost-efficient & high-quality manner.
* Monitor volumes, cost, quality, and overall OEE.
* Implement CAPEX investments to stay up-to-date with technological innovations.
* Create a healthy work culture aligned with the organisation's values.
* Establish good collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* Engineering/Operational Management Degree or similar experience.
* At least 8 years' experience working at a senior management level in a manufacturing role.
* Ability to collaborate with peer groups & improve business & site performance.
* Proven track record in delivering on Health & Safety and Operational KPIs.
* Experience leading Lean Management and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
* Drive and initiative with commitment to excellence and high standards.
* Promote teamwork.
* Communicate in an open, direct, and transparent manner.
* Strong organisational, problem solving, and time management skills.
