IT Network & Hardware Support Engineer
PFH Technology is currently looking for an experienced
IT Network & Hardware Support Engineer
to join our client's expanding Team.
We are seeking an experienced
IT Network & Hardware Support Engineer (Level 2/3)
with 4–5 years of hands-on infrastructure support experience, contract for 1 month. The ideal candidate will have strong networking knowledge, solid hardware troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in an on-site environment.
Key Responsibilities
* 5 years' experience in
IT Networking / Infrastructure Support
* Hands-on experience configuring and deploying network switches
* Provide
Level 2/3 network and infrastructure support
* Proficient with windows 11.
* Configure, deploy, and replace
network switches
* Perform network switch swap-outs and apply base configurations
* Troubleshoot network issues including connectivity, latency, and packet loss
* Support LAN/WAN environments
* Install and maintain structured cabling and patch panels
* Perform PC/laptop hardware troubleshooting and device imaging
* Support printers and other peripherals
* Assist with server room tasks (rack awareness, cabling basics)
* Perform BIOS and firmware updates (basic level)
* Manage Active Directory tasks (user accounts, group policies)
* Provide basic Microsoft 365 / Exchange support
* Use remote support tools to resolve user issues
* Log and manage incidents via ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.)
* Conduct root cause analysis and document resolutions
* Follow change control processes and maintain proper documentation
* Strong understanding of
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP
* VLAN configuration knowledge
* Basic routing concepts
