About the Role
Alternatives is partnering with a leading Irish organisation to appoint an E-Commerce Lead. This is a key opportunity for a commercially minded digital professional to shape and drive the organisation’s online retail strategy. You’ll be responsible for optimising the customer journey, growing online revenues, and enhancing the digital experience across a diverse product and service portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement a robust e‑commerce strategy to drive online sales and achieve business goals.
* Partner with cross‑functional teams, marketing, IT, category management, and customer service, to deliver a seamless and engaging online shopping experience.
* Manage day‑to‑day e‑commerce operations, including product listings, pricing, promotions, and inventory management.
* Analyse sales performance, web analytics, and customer insights to identify opportunities for conversion and growth.
* Stay informed on emerging e‑commerce trends, tools, and technologies to continually improve performance.
* Track, report, and communicate key metrics and KPIs to measure success and inform decision‑making.
About You
* Minimum of 4–6 years’ experience in driving e‑commerce growth and online sales performance.
* A third‑level qualification in business, marketing, or digital marketing (postgraduate qualification preferred).
* Proven experience managing e‑commerce platforms and digital marketing tools.
* Strong analytical and project management skills with a results‑focused approach.
* A self‑starter who thrives in a fast‑paced, collaborative, and evolving environment.
