Senior Service Development Manager
Location: Mill Lands, County Wexford, Ireland.

Key Responsibilities
Act as a member of the Senior Management Team, contributing to governance, risk management, and strategic decision‑making.
Lead development and coaching, standardisation and quality improvement functions rather than operational line management.
Coordinate and support service development projects across St. Aidan's Services, with emphasis on Day Services, HSE New Directions and person‑centred practice.
Champion the HSE New Directions Interim Standards and the HSE National Framework for Person‑Centred Planning.
Work with the Quality Team on audit‑informed learning, coaching, mentoring, complaints management and consistent practice.
Manage workforce learning, coaching and capacity building, including in‑house complaints training.
Build relationships with stakeholders: service leads, families, HSE, HR, finance and external agencies.
Promote rights‑based, person‑centred, least‑restrictive practice.
Support policy, procedure, governance, reporting, KPI development and complaints records.
Advocate safeguarding and positive practice, timely escalation and learning from incidents.
Qualifications and Experience
Level 7 or higher third‑level qualification in Social Care, Applied Social Sciences, Disability Studies, or equivalent.
Registered Social Care Worker with CORU if holding a Social Care qualification.
Relevant qualification or certification in management, leadership, quality improvement, training or person‑centred planning.
Minimum 3 years of senior management or service development experience in disability services.
Experience with HSE New Directions, preferably adult day services for people with intellectual disabilities.
Knowledge of HSE New Directions, EASI Tool and the National Framework for Person‑Centred Planning.
Experience in audit, reporting, data analysis, complaints processes and staff learning & development.
Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Full clean driving licence and access to transport for the role demands.
Right to work in Ireland with valid work authorisation.
