Job Title: Machinery Sales Director
This role is focused on promoting and selling used machinery and ageing inventory.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in machine valuation, strong financial and profit & loss capabilities, and excellent organizational skills. They will be able to work independently and drive the promotion and sale of used equipment and ageing inventory.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Drive the Promotion and Sale of used equipment and ageing inventory.
2. Inspect, appraise, and maintain detailed records of all available equipment.
3. Manage a comprehensive database of used equipment stock.
4. Oversee the end-to-end process for used equipment.
5. Monitor market trends, pricing, and equipment values.
6. Avoid overbuying or underutilized resources by optimizing sales performance, price negotiations and selecting strategic inventories that generate revenue streams with high profitability potential.
7. Purchasing managers must prioritize where they want to get their budget.
