Position: Consultant in General Internal Medicine with special interested in Gastroenterology
Description:
Bologna Health Jobs has new exciting opportunitiy for GASTROENTELOGY+ GENERAL INTERNAL MEDICINE consultant doctor in a HSE hospital in Dublin area. ( 80% will ne in GIM+20% WITH OUTPATIENTS AND endoscopies)
The hospital comprises of a modern 3 room endoscopy unit, infusion suite for IBD patients, venesection and iron infusion, a large recovery area and office space. Current staff include 3 consultant gastroenterologists, 4 SPR/ registrars in Gastroenterology, Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Endoscopy and IBD, experienced endoscopy nursing staff along with rotating training SHOs and interns. The unit is a busy one which performs on average **** procedures, has **** outpatient attendances, **** Breath tests, infusions and venesection patients and **** inpatient attendances annually
Benefits:
- Initial contract of 1 year.
- Approximate net monthly salary of 9-11k net/month after tax and pension deductions for Consultant positions.+oncalls
- 30 working days per Year holidays for Consultants+ public holidays (t is 9 in a year).
- 7 study days leave per year to erences or further education for Consultants.
- Up to ****€ for educational funding for Consultants.
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 7 years experience (after primary medical qualification) in the practice of the medical profession, of which no less than 5 have been devoted to your chosen specialty.
2. Very high level of English (at least B2).
3. Preferably with experience in Ireland or UK.
4. Registered with the IMC in the specialist register or be in the process.
5. Knowledge of GIM
