Support Worker Role
* Relevant third-level qualification (QQI Level 6 Major Award or higher)
* Minimum 1 year experience working with people with support needs, preferably intellectual disability
The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and skills in Person Centred Planning, Positive Behaviour Supports, and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Awareness (no prior experience required).You must also have enthusiasm for working creatively with individuals across the spectrum of intellectual disabilities.Willingness to support personal care if needed.Knowledge of safeguarding vulnerable persons policies.Commitment to New Directions policy.The initiative and ability to enable valued social roles using mainstream services within your local community
