**Lead a High-Performing Planning Team** to deliver expert advice and services for various projects.
Job Responsibilities
Foster a collaborative culture by leading, mentoring and developing a team of planners.
Oversee resource allocation, workload planning and project prioritisation within the planning team.
Provide technical oversight and quality assurance on all planning deliverables.
Project Delivery
Manage preparation and submission of planning applications, EIAs and related documentation.
Oversee planning input into renewable energy, infrastructure and development projects from feasibility to consent stages.
Liaise with local authorities, statutory bodies and stakeholders to facilitate project approvals.
Strategic Contribution
Support business development by contributing to bids, tenders and proposals.
Monitor changes in planning legislation and policy to ensure compliance and provide strategic advice.
Contribute to company-wide initiatives on sustainability, innovation and operational improvement.
Required Skills & Qualifications
A relevant degree in Town Planning, Environmental Planning or a related discipline.
Chartered membership of the Irish Planning Institute (IPI) or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years' professional planning experience, including team management.
Strong understanding of Irish planning legislation, policy and environmental assessment processes.
Excellent project management, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Experience working on renewable energy, infrastructure or environmental projects.
Experience across both urban and rural planning contexts.
Familiarity with cross-border planning considerations in Ireland/UK.
