We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Psychiatric Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality nursing care to patients with mental health conditions.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, and delivering individualized care plans to patients. You will work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for service users, providing support in both inpatient and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
* Assessment and Care Planning: Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, develop individualized care plans, and deliver high-quality nursing care to patients.
* Collaboration and Teamwork: Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the best outcomes for service users, providing support in both inpatient and community settings.
* Medication Administration: Administer medications as prescribed by doctors, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
* Therapeutic Interventions: Provide therapeutic interventions, including counseling and education, to support patients in their recovery journey.
* Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
* Nursing Qualifications: Registered Nurse with valid registration and experience in psychiatric nursing.
* Skills and Abilities: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, commitment to providing high-quality patient care, and right to live and work in the ROI.
