Inventory Planning Manager
This role involves leading the inventory planning process to ensure the right stock is in the right place at the right time. You will collaborate with commercial teams to drive operational excellence and make strategic decisions based on data analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop a commercial stock movement calendar that aligns with seasonal trading and product sell-through.
* Forecast volume projections to support warehouse capacity and planning.
* Own pre-season planning including grade, store profile, pre-allocation, and product flagging for operational efficiency.
* Lead in-season trading strategies through best-seller reviews, profile changes, and demand response.
* Collaborate with Buying on product and store trends to influence pricing, ranging, and size curves.
* Drive stock recall (FMLs) and liquidation strategies to optimize margin and sell-through.
* Continuously improve inventory and trade forecasting tools to support commercial decision-making.
* Partner with Retail Operations to align store option capacity with stock and layout optimization.
Requirements:
* 3+ years of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or merchandising in a retail or B2C environment.
* Strong analytical and data interpretation skills with high proficiency in Excel.
* Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g. Microsoft D365), BI tools (e.g. Tableau), and Office suite.
* Experience managing fast-moving inventory across both eCommerce and physical stores.
* Commercially aware with the ability to translate trends into actionable stock strategies.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills across all business levels.
* A third-level qualification in Supply Chain, Merchandising, or Business is desirable.
