Opportunity to work with well established organisation in the hospitality / service sector employing with 170 employees and reporting into the COO
Provide clear HR vision and direction to the Company, enabling delivery on operational targets and on longer term strategic goals, including significant organisational change and transformation (in a Unionised environment).
This role will work as part of an innovative and energetic team across all areas of peoplemanagement. The HR Manager will ensure that all elements of the organisation'sER/HR functions are optimised, underpinned by strong working relationships across all aspects of the business.
Support people management processes including recruitment, new starters, leavers contracts and related compensation and benefits administration.
Manage Employee & Industrial relations in a unionised environment to ensure the business can operate efficiently, complying with regulatory requirements.
Manage any ER escalations and or service issues within the team
* Degree or similar in HR/Business/Administration with discreet with good judgement
* Compassionate and supportive style
* Proven operational management, ideally within a Unionised environment.
* A track record in the ability to lead, engage and motivate a team.
* Experience of dealing with a range of Low, Medium and High-Risk ER matters.
* Ability to work at pace and bring and lead new ideas and improvement to processes and ways of working.
* Collaborative style and the ability to support direct coaching
