OverviewYour role here is tolead execution- delivering GenAI solutions, RPA solutions and actually solving real business problems. There is an existing role overseeing AI enablement. That is focused on getting the technology in place to enable AI – your role here isfocused on delivery.Very much the GenAI side of things – solooking at AI use cases, stuff like customer engagement or fraud or areas like propensity modelling, recommendation engines and machine learning, etc.Also,embedding AI into end-to-end processessuch as the many steps of the mortgage application work flow for example.On the more exploratory side there is an ambition to build out an internal LLM as a bank for specific domains like legal or knowledge based functions. You'll also be rolling out CoPilot for Developers.With all that in mind, your role will also be to bring some focus on where attention should be directed with all these potential initiatives.In broader terms,you'll be looking at business problems and you'll assess whether AI can help to solve them. If that's a 'Yes' thenyou'll go ahead and build those solutionswith your team and furthermore you'll build out a roadmap of those initiatives.With an AI strategy in place, your role is also to come in and evaluate that and then you'll have the scope tore-shape the AI strategy in your own vision.Zooming out from the technical side, you'll be building out your own team.On top of that, as well as strong technical skills on AI this is still a senior facing role in the bank so there really is an important communication piece in interacting with those senior stakeholders in the bank.Key DeliverablesLeading the development and application of artificial intelligence, including GenAI, to solve complex business challengesLeading advanced algorithm design, leading and managing data science workflows, and ensuring the successful experimentation and deployment of AI solutionsIdentify AI use cases and opportunitiesLead the experimentation of GenAI models (LLMs integration, RAG techniques, etc.)Lead the design of algorithms for predictive analytics, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and other AI applications.Establish frameworks and techniques for bias detection, fairness and explain-ability.Ensure alignment of AI strategies with organisational goals and risk appetite.Your BackgroundSignificant lead and delivery experience in AI/Data Science techniques and practices, frameworks, tools and platforms.Expert in machine learning, deep learning and statistical modelling as well as strong programming skills such as Python, R.Excellent experience in AI ethics, explainability and bias mitigation techniques.Understanding of data pipelines, MLOps, data governance, and cloud platforms.Solid understanding of big data technologies and data pipeline development.Ideally some Financial Services experienceHybrid Model2 days per week in the office
