Job Summary:
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting Treasury & Risk functions by preparing and sharing business reports. You will work closely with the reporting team to convert data into valuable insights that aid decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide timely and accurate reporting for various Treasury & Risk functions.
* Support the refinement and enhancement of Treasury Success Metrics reporting.
* Collaborate with the reporting team to ensure daily bank statements are fully imported to the Treasury Management System.
* Assist in month-end and quarter-end reporting activities.
* Contribute to developing analytics to derive insights from data for addressing business challenges.
* Generate insights and recommendations for business users and present analytical findings effectively.
* Support the maintenance of data models, reporting systems, dashboards, and performance metrics to facilitate key business decisions.
* Participate in cross-functional projects using data analysis techniques to identify strategic insights and optimization opportunities.
* Provide support for ad-hoc reporting requirements.
* Contribute to the technology roadmap within Treasury, including assisting with RFPs, implementations, and testing of treasury-related automation technologies.
* Collect and analyze complex data for reporting and performance analysis.
* Develop reports and presentations for senior management and leadership.
Requirements:
* Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to document existing metrics and propose process improvements.
* Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools like Microsoft Excel (intermediate level), SQL, and Power BI.
* Willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
* Attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks.
* Basic understanding of data extract/reporting software.
* Knowledge of accounting and finance practices.
* Ability to research and implement new solutions independently.
Qualifications:
* This position requires a university degree in finance, accounting, or economics (or demonstrated equivalent experience).
* Familiarity with Oracle Financials, Hyperion Reporting and Smart View is a plus.
* Experience with automation (such as AI, Power BI, Python, Alteryx, bots, etc.) is a positive differentiator.
