This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious engineer who is looking to gain further experience across a range of civil and construction projects.Key Responsibilities:Ensure all construction activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and safety standards.Prepare daily/weekly site reports, maintain accurate records, and assist with project documentation.Liaise with contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, and project managers to ensure smooth and efficient site progress.Conduct site inspections, quality checks, and resolve technical issues as they arise.Assist with project planning, scheduling, and resource management.Setting out or Buildings and ServicesRequirements:Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.Minimum 2 years' experience working on civil engineering or construction sites.Strong knowledge of construction practices, site management, and engineering principles.Ability to interpret technical drawings and use engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD).Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.Full driving licence and flexibility to travel within the Galway region as required.
