PE Global are delighted to be working with our client, a tier 1 leading building and fit‑out contractor, head office based in Dublin. We are currently seeking a Façade Manager to be based in Dublin. The client has a range of mixed‑use residential and commercial developments ongoing in Dublin. This is a full‑time, permanent position offering a very competitive salary along with a company vehicle.
Current project locations include D13 and D18. The successful candidate will be based on one project only, not moving between the two.
No visa sponsorship or relocation assistance is available. Candidates must be within commuting distance to the projects.
Key Responsibilities
Supporting the Project Manager with daily operations as required.
Ensuring coordination of façade elements across various subcontract packages and oversight of the detailed interface.
Planning and programming the overall façade construction programme.
Managing the technical submittals, tracking sign‑off and BCAR approvals process for the façade scope.
Managing sample procurement, sign‑off and testing regimes.
Ensuring compliance with Employment Requirements and project performance specifications and drawings.
Tracking the procurement of façade materials and ensuring all logistics are coordinated.
Ensuring all SOPs are met from design to procurement to installations.
Using BIM field or similar to review project quality and conduct a full checklist.
Ensuring that all Safety File and O&M data is compiled for handover to the client’s representative.
Ensuring all onsite testing is completed in line with specifications and sign‑off and snagging is completed.
Reviewing and validating any variations associated with the façade scope.
Reviewing variations where appropriate to the façade sub‑contractor if they are essential but not within their scope of work.
Qualifications
Extensive experience in managing façade projects with a proven track record.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience at this level, working on similar projects.
Trade qualification or construction‑related qualification.
Strong and effective sub‑contractor management skills.
Ability to work to tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills, and strong oral and written communication skills.
