We are currently looking for a Stock Control Supervisor to join our team in Citywest.Reporting to the UDD / UDC Head of Operations, the overall purpose of this permanent role is to ensure the integrity of all stock and stock related processes throughout both United Drug Distributors and Consumer. Operational hours for all stock related processes will be between 6:00am – 10:00pm. This role is based in Dublin and standard office hours are 37.5 hours per week. As stock Control Supervisor you will be expected to ensure that all operational tasks are completed each day and that all Client stock takes are managed and completed per schedule both of which may require working outside our standard office hours.Key responsibilities:Lead and develop a strong process focused stock teamManage the Stock take calendar for UDD and UDC and ensure that we accommodate Client requirementsRevise and manage the UDD and UDC stock related KPI's and reports for both internal and external stakeholdersResponsible for all stock transactions within UDD and UDC for example quarantine, batch specific orders, return to vendor orders, external stock transfers and storage, internal stock movements, stock destructionProactive and Integral part of all UDD / UDC operationsManagement of all investigations due to stock discrepancies and customer related queriesTo build strong ties with both UDD and UDC commercial teams to ensure that the inventory needs of all Clients and customers are metManagement of all investigations due to stock discrepancies and customer related queriesEnsure all Stock Control activities meet the Company standards in terms of GDP, internal quality, HR and health and safety requirementsEnsue all Stock Control personnel in UDD and UDC are trained on required machineryLiaise with other key business departments and managers to ensure the service offering matches the requirements of the business in terms of service, cost and quality standardsProactive attitude to problem solvingEnsuring SOPs / WRKI's are up to date and maintainedEnsure all weekly / monthly reports are sent.Ensuring destruction runs and planned in a timely mannerFacilitating audits and visits into the warehouseImplementing projects to improve efficienciesEnsuring both UDD and UDC transact all activities to budget.Minimum Requirements:5 Years stock control experienceExperience in managing a team of operativesSAP, EWM and ECC experience essentialFully proficient in Microsoft Office with a particularly focus on Excel.Experience in managing cycle check programs, organizing and managing stock takes to a high levelExperience in dealing with external clients and customers particularly in relation to stock activitiesExperience in a Pharma distribution environment and GDP requirementsAbility to Analyse data and use the findings to reach a logical solution to problemsCharacteristics of suitable candidatesAbility to lead and manage a team within a multi-faceted business environmentProcess drivenGood communications skills for Internal and External StakeholdersProven track record in managing teams and developing peopleSelf-motivated with demonstrated successful change management and improvement initiativesPersonal integrityAbout PHX Ireland & PHOENIX GroupWe are comprised of United Drug, Ireland's leading pharmaceutical wholesaler and distributor; McCabes Pharmacy, Ireland's leading community pharmacy chain; and TCP Homecare, innovators in clinical home nursing services and direct to patient delivery solutions.PHX Ireland Group employs over 1,800 people, operates 5 distribution centres and pharmacies nationwide, delivering over 85 million packs to Irish pharmacies and hospitals and serving 500,000 patients each year.PHX Ireland is part of the PHOENIX group, Europe's leading healthcare provider.
