Itinerary Planner / MICE Sales Executive
Location: Cork (office-based, with some travel and occasional evening/weekend work)
Hours: 09:00–17:30, Monday to Friday (with occasional evening/weekend work as required).
Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Overview
AA Euro Group is hiring on behalf of a long-established Irish Destination Management Company. This well-respected organisation has been welcoming international visitors to Ireland for decades and specializes in creating memorable initeraries for groups, MICE, Luxury FIT, leisure and golf tourism markets.
We are seeking an experienced Groups Itinerary Planner / MICE Sales Executive with a proven track record in the tourism industry. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong organization abilities, and a creative approach to itinerary planning. This role combines client relationship management, creative itinerary design, supplier negotiation, and operational coordination.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare quotations and proposals for new client requests.
* Build and maintain relationships with international clients and Irish suppliers.
* Develop creative, original itineraries for groups, MICE, luxury FIT, leisure, and golf tourism markets.
* Work closely with the Sales Director to develop new business opportunities.
* Manage multiple client files simultaneously, from enquiry to completion.
* Oversee group reservations, amendments, and cancellations.
* Assist with client and staff familiarisation trips (may involve evenings/weekends).
* Ensure accurate operational files and maintain efficient office systems.
* Support other projects and administrative duties as required.
Candidate Profile
* Fluent in spoken and written English (essential).
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in tourism operations, preferably with MICE and group sales.
* Knowledge of Ireland’s tourism offering (luxury FIT, leisure, golf) desirable.
* Strong sales, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
* Highly organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint); Tourplan knowledge advantageous.
* Creative and detail-oriented approach to itinerary planning.
* Flexible, team-oriented, and able to work independently.
* Full clean driving licence an advantage.
