As Global Head of Technical Claims & Exposure Management you will, in collaboration with the Business Unit Chief Claims Officers, drive consistency in claims practices, develop and share a global view of claim exposures, and partner with all relevant stakeholders to take appropriate actions.
What you'll be doing
Globally monitor a portfolio of the largest and most complex losses and potential exposures, promoting best claim handling practices and ensuring compliance with early warning and large loss protocols.
Drive continuous development of the Large Loss Framework, ensuring consistency across Business Units and Product Lines and leading roundtables and strategy determination on claims exceeding thresholds.
Act as a Strategic Business Partner to GCUO Leadership, keeping each GCUO leader apprised of portfolio trends and lessons learned.
Lead the Claims team in investigating exposures and responding to large loss and cat events, including leading the Claims Major Event Management response on behalf of the Chief Claims Officer.
Lead the Global Practice community, driving lessons learned surfacing and sharing across the claims community.
Work with the Data & Analytics team to continuously evolve claims data insights and present to the quarterly Claims Risk Committee.
What you'll bring
In depth experience in Major Event/Catastrophe and Exposure Management including identification, tracking, reporting and analysis.
Strategic Leadership: role modeling, high performance bar, initiative, ability to lead without supervision.
Claims Experience: extensive claims experience across core business lines, litigation management and regulatory knowledge.
Legal & Regulatory Knowledge: robust knowledge of multi-jurisdictional insurance coverage law and claim regulations.
Market knowledge: good knowledge of Americas, UK & Lloyds and APAC & Europe market dynamics.
Customer Focus, Effective Collaborator, Supportive of colleagues, Outstanding Communicator, Results Oriented, Continuous Improvement Focused, Fluent in English.

Compensation
The U.S. base salary range for this position is $275,000 to $325,000 USD.
