Link Personnel are working with an International Law Firm to hire a Practice Executive to support a busy team in Ireland.Is this the next step in your career Find out if you are the right candidate by reading through the complete overview below.The role is varied and suits someone proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-moving environment.Strong organisational skills, high attention to detail and the ability to build effective relationships are essential.The Role: Diary & Travel Management Manage complex diaries and travel schedules with clear judgement and awareness of individual preferences.Provide timely reminders for meetings and ensure all materials are ready in advance.Hold regular check-ins to stay ahead of upcoming deadlines, client meetings, training sessions and events.Keep track of movements to flag delays or changes as needed.Use Outlook tools effectively and delegate routine diary or travel tasks when appropriate.Marketing & Business Development Support Build a strong understanding of key clients and target sectors.Assist with practice or sector administration, organising group calls, preparing agendas, taking minutes and driving follow-up actions.Support directory submissions and ensure contact lists, mailing lists and internal entries are up to date.Help maintain a strong digital presence, including updated biographies and marketing materials.Assist with newsletters, articles and pitch preparation, ensuring templates and tools are used effectively.Maintain pitch libraries and marketing records for future use.Liaise with sector BD teams on upcoming activity, events, speakers, invitations and follow-ups.Client & Matter Management Build familiarity with key clients requiring administrative support.Develop relationships with client contacts and stay aware of relevant client activities, events and training opportunities.Organise team calls, draft agendas, take notes and progress action points.Prepare reports and carry out related admin tasks as required.Attend onboarding meetings to understand specific client instructions.Support monitoring of client activity, including panel arrangements, rate reviews and client-specific processes.Assist with project management tasks using relevant tools or templates.Ensure client-specific requirements are recorded and shared with relevant teams.Provide updates, research and reporting to support client development.Liaise with Client Relationship Executives where allocated to ensure a consistent approach across key clients.Practice Administration Support financial processes including time recording, billing cycles, credit control and work-in-progress meetings.Ensure client and matter conditions are met, including financial caps and billing requirements.Keep clients updated on financial matters and ensure reports are delivered accurately and on time.Track supplier invoices and support efficient billing.Build rapport with clients to assist with payment queries.Provide administrative support for any sector or practice management responsibilities held by stakeholders.The Candidate: Experience in a secretarial or PA role within the legal sector is desirable, ideally across multiple practice areas.Litigation experience is an advantage.Positive, can-do approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.Able to build strong working relationships at all levels.Clear communicator with excellent phone manner and strong listening skills.High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with a practical approach to problem-solving.Committed to ongoing development and continuous learning.
