Arcona Developments Ltd is looking for a Bookkeeper for their construction company based near Bunclody, Wexford.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Completing Payroll
Processing of subcontractor & supplier invoices
Monthly subcontractor & supplier payment runs
Posting of Supplier & Sub Contractor payments to accounts system
Monthly creditor & debtor reconciliations
Updating suppliers information
Communicate with suppliers & customers regarding invoices, credit control and other account matters
Monthly bank reconciliations
Vat Returns, P30 returns and RCT returns
Monthly balance sheet journals, prepayments, accruals, payroll & depreciation
Preparation of management accounts
Assist with cash flow projections & review
Preparation of year-end closeout, journals & year-end audit
Requirements:
2 years experience working in a small-medium enterprise (to include bookkeeping and accounting duties
Relevant third level qualification/ bookkeeping or accounting technician qualification
Advanced Microsoft Office skills in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Experience in working with financial systems (training on software used in the office will be provided)
Experience in using Revenue online and proficiency in excel
Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards
You will need to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, highly accurate with good attention to detail and with excellent time management skills
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
