The firm requires a Litigation Secretary to provide administrative support to the litigation team on a temporary contract basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
* Administrative Support: The successful candidate will complete digital dictation and other typing assignments accurately and efficiently.
* Case Management: Maintain and update the firm's case management system with relevant documents and information.
* Brief Preparation: Prepare briefs for counsel and compile court books for hearings, trials, and motions.
* General Administrative Duties: Handle tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning.
* Client Communication: Manage incoming calls, relay messages, and communicate with clients on behalf of Partners and Solicitors.
Requirements and Qualifications:
* Experience: At least 1 year's experience in a Legal Secretary position.
* Litigation Experience: Previous experience working in a litigation environment is required.
* Time Management: Effective time management skills to prioritize work for solicitors.
* Diary Management: Strong diary management skills to coordinate appointments.
* Communication Skills: Good communication skills and telephone manner are essential.
