We are looking for a Welder/Fabricator for our Engineering Workshop in Carrick on Suir
Job Description -
We require a Welder/ Fabricator for our workshop with experience in the fabrication of structural
steel and Metalworks in both Mild Steel and Stainless Steel. Cast welding an advantage. Agricultural
and mechanical background an advantage.
Requirements:
• Experience of MIG (Pulse) and TIG & ARC.
• Experience of cutting and drilling equipment including Plasma, brake press & guillotine
• Experience of fabricating from drawings
• Willingness to be trained on lathe and milling machines
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
• A high degree of self-motivation and ambition
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
• Professional approach to people management
• Good time management
• Willingness to work overtime when and as required
• Relevant experience essential in this area
• Applicant must have fluent English
Applicant must have a traceable working history. References are required.
Immediate start for chosen applicant.
Position is full-time
Wage negotiable depending on experience and qualifications.
