Adventure Department Leadership

Job Description:
* Develop, implement, and manage systems and strategies for the safe and successful operation of the Adventure Department.
* Manage, recruit, train, and monitor the Adventure team, ensuring their content delivery and development meet the highest standards.
* Provide instruction in specialist areas relevant to the activities offered, maintaining up-to-date qualifications and skills.
* Support affiliated adventure opportunities or projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
* Plan and deliver programs of outdoor activities for guests, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
* Assess risk and take appropriate action to address any issues.
* Purchase, maintain, and prepare activity equipment, managing the department's finances, including projections and invoicing.
* Maintain accurate records for incident and safety audits, maintenance logs, and Adventure team records/training and PPE safety logs.
Requirements:
* Qualifications and experience in various outdoor activities, including at least two full and relevant instructorships.
* Up-to-date First Aid qualification.
* Previous management role in a similar business or industry.
* Desirable: 3rd level Qualification in a related subject, such as business management, outdoor education, leadership, recreation, or sports-related course.
