Business Development Role Overview
This permanent position involves developing the business and entrepreneurial skills of our community through a wide-ranging business network.
1. Event Planning: Manage and plan various business and networking events, both on-site and off-site, as required.
2. External Networking: Regularly attend external business networking events and meetings with Government and Enterprise organisations to build strong connections.
3. New Business Acquisitions: Proactively seek new members to join our thriving business community by promoting its unique services.
4. Business Promotion: Increase visibility of the organisation through digital marketing, PR campaigns, communications & branding.
The successful candidate will be responsible for growing Social Media engagement, creating and curating content to promote the centre, activities and business opportunities. They will design and implement membership programmes, awards and competitive events to build member engagement.
About the Role: The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment, and experience in event planning and management.

* Social Media Management: Grow and maintain the social media presence of the organisation, ensuring consistent engagement and interaction with our audience.
* Membership Programmes: Design and implement effective membership programmes that cater to the diverse needs of our members.
* Networking Events: Plan and manage regular networking events that provide opportunities for our members to connect with each other and potential partners.
* Marketing Strategy: Develop and implement an effective marketing strategy that promotes our unique services and increases our visibility in the market.
