Job Duties and Responsibilities
* Manage the development of advanced core technology and intellectual property (IP) to meet the requirements of the Aerospace, Defense, and Communications (ADC) business.
* Coordinate overall system development activities with engineers across multiple locations.
* Collaborate with functional stakeholders such as program directors, hardware engineering, software development, applications, and manufacturing to develop project plans that meet market requirements and internal goals.
* Develop the execution plan for projects, ensuring accountability for schedule, scope, budget, staffing, risk analysis, and mitigation.
* Oversee the successful execution of the plan, managing the project bounding box to keep the project on track and within budgetary commitments.
* Continuously evaluate project risks and take appropriate action to mitigate.
* Prioritize deliverables across all active and sustaining projects and customers in coordination with program managers.
* Coordinate communications to ensure alignment across all cross‑functional teams and optimize performance at a project level.
* Serve as the focal point for internal project communications, compiling regular status reports for stakeholders and escalating critical issues and risks as necessary.
* Ensure compliance with specified internal, customer, or industry standards, processes, and procedures.
* Drive a culture of continuous improvement by championing project management best practices and new methodologies within the ACG level.
Qualifications
* BS or MS in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
* Demonstrated experience leading engineering teams and managing engineering projects from concept to release.
* Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
* Experience with IC product development from concept to release.
* Preferred: extensive project management experience.
* Preferred: experience with advanced CMOS RF/mixed‑signal IC development.
* Preferred: software development experience.
* Knowledge of RF wireless communication systems.
* Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to set and manage priorities, adapt to change, and drive progress of activities and deliverables to closure.
* Proficiency with project management software and tools, including MS Project, Confluence, Jira, Excel, and VBA.
* Must be able to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce (Bureau of Industry and Security) and/or the U.S. Department of State (Directorate of Defense Trade Controls) if required for this role.
