About the Job
Ballymascanlon Hotel & Golf Resort is a four‑star property located on 130 acres of beautiful parkland. We are seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our team.
Responsibilities
* Assist the Head Chef & Sous Chefs with the overall running of the kitchen.
* Contribute to the production of the highest possible food quality in the assigned section at all times.
* Prepare and properly garnish all food orders as they are received in accordance with menu specifications, ensuring proper plate presentation.
* Supervise the proper set‑up of each item on menus and ensure readiness and food standard.
* Prepare dishes for bar, restaurant, conference and banqueting outlets.
* Be creative and develop new and innovative dishes.
* Adhere to HACCP regulations at all times.
* Support kitchen staff in observing appropriate hygiene systems during food preparation and storage.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years experience as a Chef de Partie within a food service environment, preferably in hotels or restaurants.
* Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
* Passion and genuine interest in food.
* Team player.
* Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
* Good knowledge of HACCP procedures and regulations.
* Good command of English.

Working Hours
* Core hours: 39 hours completed over 5 days within a 7‑day period.
