About Your New Job as a Quality Engineer II: Here are some of your responsibilities: You will be responsible for the daily execution of sound quality practices and maintenance of an effective quality system. You will independently make decisions related to product quality, including the disposition of non-conforming products. You will participate in customer complaints investigation for areas under your control. You will continuallyseek to drive improvements in product and process quality. You will be fully conversant with validation techniques and associated regulatory requirements, including analysis of customer feedback and complaints. Use knowledge of Six Sigma, Statistical Analysis, and Lean principles to investigate and solve problems and improve quality. Be a good team member, fully motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with the department and site objectives. What Skills You Need A Level 8 Degree (240 Credits) or equivalent in an Engineering or Science-related discipline. A minimum of 3-4 years of experience working at the Engineering level, ideally within the Medical Device industry or another highly regulated environment. Familiarity with Internal Audit Processes. Fully motivated to achieve and demonstrate best practices in line with the department and site objectives. Experience in Extrusions & Mouldings is desirable.
