Description of Post:
Sligo Education Centre is seeking a hard-working individual to join our team as a clerical officer in our meeting room and office environment.
Duties and responsibilities
* Customer Service: Serve as a first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing information, directing inquiries, and offering assistance.
* Meeting and Event Coordination: Assist in organising meetings and events, including room bookings, equipment setup, and catering arrangements.
* Data Entry and Record Keeping: Technology and software use for word processing, spreadsheets and databases
* Prepare, manage, and file documents and reports, ensuring they are accurate, up-to-date, and readily available.
Essential Requirements
* Leaving Certificate or a recognised equivalent examination.
* Relevant clerical/administrative experience in a modern office environment.
* An effective team player.
* High level of computer literacy (high skill level in the Microsoft Office suite) with good attention to detail essential.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Flexibility and reliability.
* Have the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

Pay: From €31,119.00 per year
