The Role

Overview:
* This role is responsible for managing the payroll function, ensuring accurate and timely processing of employee compensation, compliance with relevant legislation, and effective coordination with HR and Finance departments.
Key Responsibilities:

1. Payroll Management: Oversee the preparation and processing of payroll for all employees. Ensure accurate calculation of salaries, benefits, deductions, and taxes. Maintain payroll records and ensure data integrity.
2. Time & Attendance Management: Oversee operation and maintenance of T&A system. Provide support to managers & employees on T&A system. Ensure T&A practices comply with employment legislation and company policies.
3. Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with local tax laws, employment regulations, and company policies. Prepare and submit statutory returns (e.g., PAYE, PRSI, USC). Support audits and provide payroll-related documentation as required.
4. System & Process Improvement: Manage payroll systems and software. Identify and implement process improvements for efficiency and accuracy. Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure alignment of payroll with organizational goals.
5. Team Leadership: Supervise payroll staff and provide training and development. Delegate tasks and monitor performance to ensure timely delivery.
6. Employee Support: Address payroll-related queries from employees. Ensure correct application of leave entitlements and benefits. Support on-boarding and off-boarding processes from a payroll perspective.
