We are seeking a skilled and friendly full‑time hotel Receptionist to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming and hospitable environment.
Responsibilities
* Display a friendly, courteous and professional manner in all interactions with guests, patrons and other employees.
* Attend or read the handover briefing at the beginning of your shift to ensure that you are aware of any special requirements for the day.
* Greet guests as they arrive and check them into their rooms.
* Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel amenities and services.
* Manage phone calls and email correspondence.
* Quote and be familiar with room and rate availability for current and future dates.
* Accept reservations, changes and cancellations in the absence of reservations staff.
* Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
* Manage room reservations and ensure accuracy of guest information in the hotel’s booking system.
* Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
* Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations.
* Perform tasks and projects delegated by the manager on duty.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a customer‑facing role.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Office and hotel booking software.
* Available to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
